Dear readers,

The Editors’ Weekly will be taking a holiday break, with no posts on December 28 and January 4. We’ll be back in the new year with new posts about the academic editing special interest group, the Editors Canada national executive council, embracing neurodivergence as an editor, an exciting new project for language lovers and more.

In the meantime, we invite you to browse our archives or check out Editors Canada’s selection of webinar recordings.

What kind of content would you like to see more of in 2024? Why not try your hand at writing it yourself? We’re always open to pitches!

As we head off into the holidays, I’d like to add a personal note of gratitude to all the contributors who’ve made my first seasons as managing editor so welcoming as we’ve shared your content with the editing community. And my sincerest thanks go out to Emily Lam, who took up the role of proofreader and social media coordinator this year with ease. Her keen eye, thoughtful queries and hard work behind the scenes keep the blog running smoothly from week to week.

May you have a restful holiday season and a happy new year.

See you in 2024!
